I have, I have been here before...

I've been inspired.

After reading a fascinating article titled "Play-Based Preschools Versus Academic Preschools" that was included in my son's daycare packet, I decided to take a look at the author's blog: Interrupted Wanderlust. It's all about the trials and tribulations of raising three little kids (two of whom are twins.) She posts updates about her kids monthly and includes "current likes" and "current dislikes". It made me realize I'm missing these little tidbits as my kids grow up. Time to start recording.

Nathaniel Luke is 15 months old today. He is the youngest of four boys. The last time I checked (a few weeks ago), he was 20 lbs and 28 inches tall. He's a bit of a shrimp, but that's okay. Nate (or Nathan or "Nay"
as Nick, his 2 1/2 year old brother, calls him) is a sweet loving little Mama's boy. He still nurses though I've been trying to steer him towards the sippy cup. He's not a whiner, but he will cry when he's sleepy or hungry or needs some cuddling. Or when his brother pushes him down. Which happens quite a lot.

Current likes: spinning, shoes, his Push and Pull Activity Gears worm (although we're not really sure where all the gears went...)

Current dislikes: being told no, having brother take his toys, sleeping past 7 am

I'm going to update as often as possible, and this blog will get more interesting as time goes on, but since another cold has zapped my energy, I'm going to call it a night...
